As Built Survey for Wells Blvd/Pkwy Green Street Project

end

Suggested Action:

recommendation

I move that the Mayor and Council authorize an expenditure not to exceed $17,000.00 to Johnson, Mirmiran, and Thompson (JMT) to complete an as-built survey for the Wells Blvd/Pkwy Green Street project as required by Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement (DPIE) under their existing contract with the City.

end

Summary Background:

After several years of planning, design, and permitting the Wells Boulevard/Parkway Complete Green Street project was constructed in the Summer of 2022. A requirement of the permit as issued by Prince George’s County DPIE is that an as-built survey must be conducted and as-built drawings provided to DPIE, and if requested to Prince George’s County Department of the Environment and Department of Public Works and Transportation. This requirement was previously optional and at the discretion of the inspector, and as such was not included in the previous design and permitting proposals or authorizations.

Next Steps:

Complete As-built survey and drawings and close out permit.

Fiscal Impact:

NTE $17,000
