I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the decommissioning and disposal of the Public Works vehicles and equipment noted in the memo dated April 8th, 2022.

Summary Background:
The Department of Public Works have a number of vehicles that 14-20 years old and have exceeded the standard replacement schedule for each type of vehicle. The vehicles being decommissioned have needed more frequent and expensive repairs, do not meet current emissions or fuel economy standards, and need extensive additional work and financial resources to keep them on the road.
Next Steps:
Place the items for auction or disposal according to the City’s procurement policy.
Fiscal Impact:
Proceeds from the auction will be returned to the City.
