I move that the Mayor and Council allocate and authorize the expenditure of $650,000 for the Police Communications Center and $30,000 to develop a Hyattsville Business Vandalism Fund, criteria to be developed under the Corridor Investment Program, using American Rescue Plan Act funds.

Summary Background:
As previously discussed, the City will continue to identify adjustments to the approved ARPA spending plan. We will identify increases in approved programs and return funds that are not expected to be obligated by December 2024 to be reprogrammed. The ARPA Fund Manager will address the current ARPA plan projections, identify funds available for reprogramming and present the staff recommendation to Council.
