Summary Background:
In May 2024, City staff solicited a Request for Proposal (RFP) to find qualified companies that could design a dais, staff tables, and other features of a council chamber necessary to complete the renovations of the Council Chambers, as previously approved by Council.
Design Collective, Inc. was the only respondent to the RFP but are highly qualified having worked on the College Park City Hall project and the New Carrollton City Municipal Center Renovation project. Design Collective’s experience will be a significant help in completing the Council Chambers renovations to ensure the City is ready for a return to in person meetings with hybrid capability.
Next Steps:
Execute Contract and complete design.
