I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to enter into a contract with LAZ Parking Mid-Atlantic, LLC In an amount not to exceed $30,000 to provide consulting services for the City-owned parking spaces in the garage to be located at 5300 Baltimore Ave, pending legal review.

Summary Background:
The City has contracted with LAZ Parking Mid-Atlantic LLC, to provide services for its current parking lots and meters. The scope of this contract will provide services in the new garage including providing a comprehensive review of the existing garage plans, functional design, parking stall layout, ramp slopes, turning maneuverability, vehicular access points, and appropriate number, location, and dimensions for parking stalls to meet ADA guidelines. They will also provide recommendations on general operating conditions including hours of operation, parking rates, and space allocation for various user groups, and consult on signage and wayfinding plans for both internal and external requirements. The consultant will oversee third-party graphic design and installation, if required, and provide recommendations for PARCS (Parking Access and Revenue Control System).

Upon Council approval and legal review, the City Administrator will execute the contract.
