Acceptance of King Park Renovation Petition

I move that the Mayor and Council accept the resident petition regarding the King Park Renovation received by the City Clerk’s Office on March 7, 2023.

Summary Background:
The City has contracted with Low Impact Design Center to develop a design for the renovation of King Park. The City has hosted events to gather input from the public in regards to the proposed renovations. The public feedback collected from these events as well as other communications, including this petition, sent to the City will be processed by City staff and Low Impact Design Center to create revised design options for King Park.

City staff will coordinate with LIDC to ensure the petition is considered as part of the community feedback on the park renovation.
