Change Order to the Third-Party Reviewer Contract

I move the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to issue a change order to Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), formerly Holbert Apple Associates, in an amount not to exceed $35,000 to provide ongoing third party permit review services as required by Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections, and Enforcement. The scope of the change order is to complete the review of the plans for the Trolly Trailhead Park project, aka “The Spot”.

Summary Background:
Prince George’s County requires third party reviews for all City projects that require a County Permit. The City has previously solicited and selected Holbert Apple Associates to provide these required permit review services for the DPW Facility and 3505 Hamilton Street. Holbert Apple Associates was acquired by GPI in early 2022 and continued providing third party review services to the City for the Teen Center and now Trolley Trailhead Park Projects.
