Summary Background:

The City is scheduled to decommission a 2009 Honda Fit that is used by the City’s Parking Compliance Division to support operations.  The City has reviewed vehicle options that can (1) support operational needs and (2) are within the $36,000 budget allocated through the FY2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

Staff has determined that a 2022 Chevy Bolt will meet the City’s operational needs, including adequate capacity to support the City’s Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) equipment.

The City intends on utilizing a ‘piggy-back’ rider on a FY2021 contract between Baltimore County and Criswell Chevrolet Inc., 503 Quincy Orchard Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878.

Next Steps:

No additional action is required.
