I move the Mayor and Council close the Council Meeting of May 20, 2024, to consult with the City Attorney and staff regarding pending litigation. The reasons for closing the meeting under these exceptions are to maintain legally required confidentiality regarding litigation and to protect Attorney/Client privileged communications.
This session will be closed under the authority of the Annotated Code of Maryland State Government General Provisions Article Section 3-305 (b)(7) to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice and Section 3-305 (b)(8) consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation.
