Summary Background:

On December 6, 2021, the Council authorized the City Treasurer to establish a FEMA Reimbursement Grant Fund and appropriate $291,309 for expenditures related to COVID-19 vaccine and testing site costs for the period between October 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022.

This motion authorizes an additional appropriation of $250,000 into the fund for the purchase and distribution of COVID-19 home test kits for distribution to residents. The costs will be reimbursed to the City 100% from FEMA.
