I move that the Mayor and Council authorize an expenditure not to exceed $19,000 to Johnson, Mirmiram, and Thompson (JMT) for the design and coordination with PEPCO for a new electrical service at Heurich Park under their existing contract.

Summary Background:
In 2020, Council authorized the purchase of a Portland Loo to be placed at Heurich Park. The Portland Loo was delivered to the City in October 2021. Staff is preparing for the installation at Heurich Park and must request a new electrical service from the Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) to power the Portland Loo. JMT has a current contract with the City to provide engineering and architectural related services for the City and has previously completed the same task for Hyatt Park.
