Summary Background:

The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) identified this gap in County policy and has been actively working with staff liaisons, Council liaisons, and others on City staff to address this problem. The YAC asks the Council to send a letter urging a change in County curriculum and policy in order to help save more lives. The background attachment includes a letter from the YAC asking for the Council’s support in this matter.
