The Spot - SoHy Cooperative Renewal of Use Agreement

I move the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to enter into a renewal agreement with the SoHy Coop for use of The Spot through December 31, 2023. Should the property become unavailable before the end of the agreement, the city would provide 60 day notice of early termination.

Summary Background:
The SoHy Co-op activated the city owned lots on Hamilton St adjacent to the Trolley Trail as a community space with planters, outdoor tables, shade structures, and benches. The Spot was transformed from vacant lots to a gathering place including monthly programming. An agreement with SoHy will permit the cooperative to continue to provide programming on this city owned property.

No additional City Council action is required.
