I move that the Mayor and Council approve the FY20 Police Recruitment and Retention year-end budget adjustments and closeout to cover pay-out costs in an amount not to exceed $9,000 and approved by the Governor’s Office of Crime and Prevention.

Summary Background:
The Governor’s Office of Crime and Prevention approved a FY20 Police Recruitment and Retention (PRAR) Grant year-end budget adjustments and closeout in late June of this year. We used the funding for payouts promoting education, language, and veteran’s outreach. We are seeking Council’s approval to complete the final FY20 closeout of this grant.

The adjustments have no impact in the approved FY20 PRAR Grant.
