I move that the Mayor and Council amend the FY21 Special Revenues Fund Budget and appropriate $303,500 in unencumbered FY20 COVID-19 Funds.

Summary Background:

On April 6, 2020, the City Council adopted 2020-02 COVID-19 Pandemic Fund, an uncodified ordinance whereby the City of Hyattsville establishes a special revenue fund known as the COVID-19 Pandemic Fund and transferred one million dollars from the unencumbered fund balance in the General Fund to reduce the impact of economic hardships arising from the pandemic caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the City of Hyattsville.

 

Next Steps:

Appropriate the $303,500 in Fund 32 of the Special Revenue Funds Budget.

Fiscal Impact:

Re-appropriating prior year fund balance of $303,500 in COVID-19 Fund.
