I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to enter into a design/build agreement with Keller Construction Management for the renovation of the first-floor entryway at 4310 Gallatin Street at a cost not to exceed $200,000. The contract agreement authorization is subject to the legal review and approval by the City Attorney.

Summary Background:
In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, City staff has evaluated the physical space and well as operational updates and other changes to make public spaces more resistant to the spread of the Coronavirus and other bacteria and viruses. One option studied by staff was to create a reception area on the first floor. This reception area would allow the majority of residents to come and conduct their business with the City without having to enter the building or be exposed to staff workspaces.
