Suggested Action:

I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the police to declare the following vehicles surplus based on age, mileage, wear and tear, and costs to repair. Upon approval, the vehicles will be sold to the public through the on-line vendor GovDeals.com

Summary Background:

The Police Department requests that the following vehicles be sold at auction. They are no longer serviceable as police vehicles because of age, mechanical condition, and cost of repair. These vehicles are between 10 and 15 years old.

Upon approval by Mayor and Council the police department will proceed with the auctioning of the vehicles.
