I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the Police Department to purchase two (2) vehicles from Hertricht Fleet Services and upfitting equipment from Global Public Safety together in an amount not to exceed of $107,000.

Summary Background:
The Mayor and Council approve up to $324,000 in the Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Capital Improvements Budget for the purchase of replacement vehicles and related equipment for the Police Department. The total cost of two new vehicles is $73,208 and the upfitting cost is $33,672 for an aggregate amount of $106,880. The new vehicles will replace two aging vehicles identified on the departments replacement schedule that currently have high milage and excessive repair cost.
