Proclamation Honoring Councilmember and Council Vice President Bart Lawrence

I move that the Mayor and Council adopt a proclamation honoring Bart Lawrence for his years of service and dedication to the City of Hyattsville as Ward 1 Councilmember and Council Vice President.

Summary Background:
Bart was elected to the Hyattsville City Council in 2013. In his eight (8) years of service, Mr. Lawrence accomplished several initiatives that continue to benefit the residents of the City. His legacy will include Initiatives that compelled development and growth, protected the environment, protected and enhanced the rights of residents, and helped to make Hyattsville a more inclusive community. Councilmember Lawrence also served as Council Vice President from 2015 - 2017.
