I move the City Council authorize the City Administrator to execute a work order with Dataprise Inc. to re-cable the existing City Administration Building and increase the WiFi connectivity within the facility at a cost not to exceed $150,000.

Summary Background:
The facility’s cabling network includes many original and terminated cables and as currently configured cannot reliably and effectively support hybrid work and/or public meetings.
The City is commissioning Dataprise, Inc. to perform the following tasks:
• Total New Network Cables: 322
• Network Switch Replacement
• Upgrade Applicable Software Licensing
• Stage and Configure three (3) Dell M640P Server Blades
• Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Points (WAP): 25
The project will take approximately ninety (90) days to complete, from time of Notice to Proceed.
Next Steps:
No additional action is required.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this project is eligible for reimbursement funding through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021.
