Summary Background:
Healthy Trees Hyattsville is a program where the objective is to support the City and its residents through Environmental Education and Sustainable Practices providing for a healthier and more resilient environment. Programming aspects will include a Residential Tree Care Assistance Program, Tree Care Education, Stormwater Management, Forest Maintenance, etc. It is expected that these programs will be developed over time and be supported by City funds as well as Grants and Internships.
Next Steps:
This program will come back to Council for approval in early spring.

Operating budget FY23 $10,000.00
