I move that the Mayor and Council authorize the City Administrator to enter into an agreement with RK&K to perform an intersection study for the intersection of Hamilton Street, Gallatin Street, 40th Avenue, and 39th Avenue to develop concepts for the improvement of the intersection for an expenditure not to exceed $75,000, pending legal review.

Summary Background:
In early May 2023 City staff issued a request for proposals (RFP) publishing it on the City Website and eMaryland Marketplace. City staff received two proposals and determined that both were responsive and responsible. RK&K provided the better value for the City and it is staff’s recommendation that a contract be awarded to RK&K.
Next Steps:
Complete contract, issue PO, and schedule study.
