I move the Mayor and Council approve the disbursement of $252 from the Ward 1 discretionary funds to Arrow Bicycles for the purchase of children and youth bicycle helmets.

Summary Background:
The City of Hyattsville’s Health Wellness and Recreation Advisory Committee is organizing a Bike Rodeo to be held in Heurich Park on May 18th. Any remaining helmets will be distributed through schools in the City at the beginning of the public school academic year. The Rodeo will combine education and practical bike handling and safety procedures. The purchased helmets will be distributed to children without their own.
