For discussion: I move the Mayor and Council increase the funding in the FY25 budget for the Mayor and Ward Discretionary Funds from $1,700 per Ward to $2,700 per Ward.

City Administrator Comments:
For Council discussion. The Mayor/Ward discretionary funds were increased from $1,000 to $1,700 in FY19. Funds are typically used to support community programs, events, nonprofits, or schools which are not included in regular City budgeting. If an increase is approved, staff recommends Council adopt an official policy for the use of discretionary funds.
